How can I connect my Facebook group?

Connecting a Facebook group to RADAAR requires slightly more steps than connecting a page. To connect a Facebook group to RADAAR, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to your group page on https://www.facebook.com.
2. Click Group Settings and scroll down to the Advanced Settings section.
3. Click Apps and Add Apps.
4. Search for the RADAAR app and click Add.
5. Return RADAAR dashboard: https://dash.radaar.io/
6. From the left menu, navigate to Settings and switch to Channels tab.
7. Click to Connect button and select the Facebook (Group) option.
8. Ensure that you grant RADAAR access to all of your assets belongs to Facebook and Instagram on the authorization screen.
9. Upon your return to the RADAAR dashboard, click on the Connect button for the specific Facebook group you intend to connect.

Please note that you can only add Facebook groups to RADAAR that you are an admin of and have added the RADAAR application to. You cannot add groups that you are not an admin of.

How can I connect multiple Facebook groups?

You can connect multiple Facebook groups to RADAAR. The linking process is the same as connecting your first Facebook group. Please note that you can only add Facebook groups to RADAAR that you are an admin of and have added the RADAAR application to. You cannot add groups that you are not an admin of.

Why does my Facebook group keep disconnecting frequently?

There are several potential reasons for the consistent disconnection of a Facebook group. Please review these to address the issue:

1. Have you recently changed the password for your Facebook user account?
2. Did you recently enable two-factor authentication?
3. Have you recently updated the group settings of your Facebook group?
4. Did you solely choose the another asset on Facebook's authorization screen when connect a new Facebook group, page or Instagram profile?
5. Is there a possibility that your Facebook account might get suspended and require reactivation?

Please review all these potential issues and proceed to reconnect your Facebook group to RADAAR.

What kind of content am I allowed to share on my Facebook group?

With the Scheduler feature, you have the ability to effortlessly create and schedule various types of content for your Facebook group. Whether it's Text, Single Image, Video, Photo Album, or Link, you can easily schedule it to be automatically published at your preferred times.

How can I publish carousel, story or reel on my Facebook group?

Unfortunately, the Facebook Group API does not yet allow sharing carousel, story or reel posts on your Facebook group. If you choose the Carousel type for your content, it will be published as Photo Album. If you choose Story or Reel type and upload a video, your content will be shared as Video.

How can I publish an event or pool (survey) on my Facebook group?

Currently, it is not possible to publish an event or poll (survey) for your Facebook group using RADAAR. We understand that it would be helpful to have this feature, and we hope to incorporate it in the future. However, we are unable to provide an estimated time of delivery for this addition at the moment.

Why wasn't my first comment published under my post on my Facebook group?

Unfortunately, the Facebook Group API does not currently support posting a comment on your content. That's why you cannot use our Chain Commets feature with your Facebook group locations. If Meta brings this support for its API in the future, you will be able to add comments for your content.

Why was the content I scheduled not published in my Facebook group and gave an error?

There may be many reasons why content is not published in your Facebook group. First of all, please understand that Facebook groups' settings are quite complicated. One of these settings may be preventing your content from being published. For example, your content may be for sales or marketing purposes. Or it may contain an objectionable link. For these reasons, the Facebook Group API may have prevented your content from being published. To understand this issue, please first try sharing very simple content with very little text. If this content is not published, try reconnecting your Facebook group.

How can I reply to comments on my posts on my Facebook group?

Unfortunately, the Facebook Group API does not currently allow viewing and managing comments. That's why you cannot use our Social Inbox feature with your Facebook group. If Meta brings this support for the API in the future, you will be able to start managing comments coming to your posts on your Facebook group via RADAAR.
