What is outgoing webhook?

A webhook is a mechanism used in web development and application integration to allow one system or application to send real-time data or notifications to another system or application. You can use the Webhook (Outgoing) within RADAAR to send your calendared content to another application such as Discord, Slack, Zapier.

How can I set up an outgoing webhook?

Creating an outgoing webhook can require some technical knowledge. Therefore, we recommend that you benefit from the detailed training video we have prepared on this subject at https://youtu.be/Kswkaw2Yk1k.

1. From the left menu, navigate to Settings and switch to Channels tab.
2. Click to Connect button and select the Webhook (Outgoing) option.
3. Choose one of the ready-made templates for Type.
4. Enter a Name for your outgoing webhook.
5. Enter the Webhook URL (Endpoint) where your content data will be posted.
6. If you wish, enter the final URL in the Preview URL so that you can easily view your content when it is shared.
7. Click the Add button to create your outgoing webhook.

Please note that you may need to create the Webhook URL (Endpoint) by creating an incoming webhook in the target application. If you need help on this issue, we recommend that you contact the support team of that application.

How can I create more than one outgoing webhook?

How can I publish content on Discord or Slack?

How can I test the Webhook (Outgoing) I created?

You can create a test URL using the https://webhook.site/ website. Enter this URL into the Webhook URL (Endpoint) of the Webhook (Outgoing) you created. Then, create and share content in Scheduler for this Webhook (Outgoing). You can view the result on the website https://webhook.site/.
